Product Uses
Application environment:
In the walking or track structure of AF108/RG108, the supporting or load-bearing wheels are often affected by large loads, strong vibrations, and high levels of mud and water impurities. Therefore, the quality and sealing effect of the oil seal directly affect the reliability of the entire machine.
In the "Wheel System Assembly" of the walking system, it appears in the "supporting wheel bearing hub/hub axle" section
Product Operate Guide
Repair/replacement scenarios and prompts
When replacing the bearing of the supporting wheel, replace the oil seal together.
Discovery of grease leakage or cement like impurities entering between the wheel casing and hub.
After installation, it was found that the bearing temperature increased abnormally, the walking vibration increased, or there was abnormal noise.
Introduction to Maintenance Process:
Disassemble the supporting wheel assembly and remove the old oil seal.
Clean the shaft, hub, mounting holes, and bearing chamber, and check for scratches and deformation.
Check the condition of the bearings. If the sliding and rolling are not smooth or the jumping is large, the bearings should be replaced first.
Choose a new oil seal (such as DV01401060010 or a substitute of the same specification) and apply a small amount of lubricating grease to the lip first.
Press the oil seal smoothly into the installation hole, ensuring that the lip faces the oil or lubrication chamber and the outer shell fits snugly against the wheel housing.
Assemble and restore the wheel hub, axle, and supporting wheel structure.
Observe for a few minutes during the initial operation (no-load or low-speed), confirm that there are no leaks or abnormalities, and then put it into normal operation.
Maintenance Tips:
Farmland operations often involve the intrusion of mud, water, rice straw, and gravel. It is recommended to regularly check the support wheels and oil seals for any debris or blockages after the operation.
If cracks, hardening, lip loss, grease overflow or impurities are found on the outer lip of the oil seal, early replacement should be considered.
It is recommended to shorten the oil seal inspection cycle in extremely harsh operating environments (such as muddy water/gravel/landslide fields)“
