In-Depth Research on Local Rice Applications

A "Rice Special Research Team" was established. Through field visits and collaboration with local agents, the team focused on three core dimensions:
Full-cycle rice cultivation conditions: e.g., mud depth (30-50cm) in Southeast Asian rainy season rice paddies, water retention in African sandy paddies, and straw hardness of South Asian indica rice. Core requirements such as "sinking prevention, sand control, and crop compatibility" were identified;
Localized Usage Conditions: Target country voltage (e.g., 220V/50Hz in Africa), operator skill level (whether simplified operation is required), and field network coverage (remote areas require offline functionality);
Policy Compliance Requirements: Pre-verification of import certifications (e.g., ASEAN TISI, Africa SONCAP), agricultural machinery subsidy policies (combinable benefits), and tariff rates. 

Targeted Design of Customized Solutions

A cross-departmental team focused on "Technology + Agronomy + Foreign Trade" was established. Based on the research findings, the team identified three major design directions:
 Performance Customization: For rice transplanters, the Southeast Asian version features enhanced features like a waterproof motor and wide tracks for anti-sinking, while the African version features enhanced features like sand and dust filtration and high-temperature protection. For harvesters, the tropical version includes grain tank dehumidification, and the threshing drum speed is adjusted for indica rice regions.
Interactive Customization: The user interface incorporates shortcuts for rice scenarios (e.g., "Rainy Season Transplanting Mode" and "Dusty Area Harvesting Mode"), supports local languages ​​(e.g., Thai and Swahili), and simplifies complex functionsinto a three-step process.

Prototype Scenario Verification

One prototype will be produced according to the customized plan, and "full-process rice field operation testing" will be conducted in the customer's local test field, primarily:
Southeast Asia: Simulating a rainy season with continuous rice seedling transplanting for 4 hours to test whether the waterproof motor is flooded and whether the tracks are stuck in mud;
Africa: Testing the harvester's threshing efficiency and the unmanned fertilizer spreader's spreading accuracy (to prevent sand jamming) in sandy rice fields;
The customer will be invited to participate in the entire testing process, noting operational difficulties (e.g., a button location that is too far away) and performance optimization points (e.g., the fertilizer spread width needs to be narrowed). Prototype iterations will be completed within 3 days (e.g., adjusting button layout and optimizing the fertilizer spreader).                                 

Customized Manufacturing

We implement a dedicated supply chain for customized components: waterproof motors are sourced from IP67-certified suppliers, and sand-proof filters utilize high-mesh filter media to ensure the quality of core customized modules.
Quality inspections are implemented at custom nodes throughout the production process, such as during the application of waterproof sealant to rice transplanters and the installation of dehumidification modules for harvesters. Each step is signed off by a technician to prevent incomplete customization (e.g., leaked sealant leading to water ingress).
Customized spare parts (such as waterproof motor spares and sand-proof filters) are also produced and packaged with the complete machine to prevent missing parts during future repairs.                                                                                                  

Cross-border, compliant delivery

Logistics: Utilize moisture-proof and rust-proof vacuum packaging with anti-vibration buffer cages, and install crash boxes for precision rice agricultural machinery components (such as sensors for unmanned fertilizer spreaders).
Customs clearance: Prepare a customized certification document package (including performance test reports and local compliance certificates) in advance, and collaborate with local agents for one-on-one customs clearance follow-up, ensuring delivery within 30 days of prototype testing.
Delivery: On-site demonstrations of customized features (such as offline navigation for unmanned fertilizer spreaders and activation of the harvester's dehumidification module) allow customers to intuitively confirm that all customized items have been implemented.

Post-Customization Training and Feedback

Carry out "Customized Function-Specific Training": For example, teach customers how to check the waterproof seals of rice transplanters during the rainy season and how to clean harvester filters in sandy areas. Distribute a "Customized Agricultural Machinery Maintenance Manual" (with specific maintenance points marked).
Return visits are conducted one month later to collect feedback on customized function usage (e.g., whether the unmanned fertilizer spreader's spreading accuracy meets standards). If fine-tuning is needed (e.g., optimizing the fertilizer spreading algorithm), program upgrades are remotely distributed, ensuring "continuous customization."

For Southeast Asia's rainy, low-light conditions:
In addition to upgraded IP67-rated waterproof motors (to prevent rainwater infiltration and short circuits) and a fully sealed cockpit (to isolate field moisture), the track shoes have been widened to 35cm and have deeper anti-slip grooves (increasing ground contact area by 40% to prevent mud entrapment) to address the common 30-50cm mud depth in local rice fields. A rainproof windshield and high-speed wipers are also included to ensure clear visibility during transplanting in the rainy season, and an anti-stick coating is applied to the seedling box to prevent wet seedlings from sticking and causing missed plantings.

Harvester: Optimizing "crop characteristics + climatic conditions" to improve clean harvest rate and grain quality.

In major indica rice producing areas (such as Southeast Asia and South Asia):
To address the characteristic of indica rice, which has plump grains but coarse straw fibers, we optimized the threshing drum speed (adjusted to 850-950 rpm to reduce grain breakage) and reduced the concave plate gap to 15-20 mm (to improve clean harvest rate). Furthermore, the cutting blades were upgraded with a tungsten carbide coating (which doubles wear resistance and prevents blade blunting caused by straw entanglement). A straw shredder and return device (with adjustable shredding size) was also added to meet the local agronomic demand for returning straw to the field for soil conservation after harvest.
