Common faults and troubleshooting methods
1.Symptom: Slow/weak movement of the machine
Possible reasons: Increased clearance between plunger and sleeve (wear), aging seal leading to internal leakage.
Troubleshooting: Disassemble and inspect the surface wear of the plunger, the inner wall of the sleeve, and measure the inner diameter tolerance; Check whether the oil is emulsified/contains water.
2.Symptom: Abnormal noise/shaking of the pump body
Possible reasons: Surface grooves on the plunger, loose socket or spring failure.
Troubleshooting: Listen and locate the sound, disassemble and inspect the integrity of the plunger and the fixing parts of the mating components.
3.Symptoms: External oil leakage/pressure drop
Possible reasons: O-ring, seal damage, or assembly errors.
Troubleshooting: Replace the seals, check the tightness of the gland and retaining ring.
4.Symptom: The plunger is stuck or broken
Possible reasons: foreign objects entering, poor lubrication, or manufacturing defects.
Troubleshooting: Check the cleanliness of the oil, whether the filter element is clogged, and whether there are surface defects on the plunger.
Priority should be given to checking the oil (contamination and moisture), filter element, and wear of the mating surface with the plunger during maintenance
